Capacity:

Mobile-Karriers provide remarkable versatility! They carry
the full weight of your drum. Grip drum by hand and rotate
360°. Lock tilt angle of a raised drum for dispensing. For
safety, lock drum in upright position to prevent spills while
transporting. When unlocked, the drum may be turned end-
over-end to agitate contents or tipped and held manually
at any angle.
Effort
required to tilt drum depends on several factors. A
balanced 600 Lb. (272 kg) drum will pivot on the fulcrum
far easier than a bottom heavy unbalanced drum of the same
weight.
The
mobile drum carrier / dispenser is simple to move and
steer on its 8" (20 cm) diameter MORTUF polyolefin roller
bearing wheels and 4" (10 cm) diameter swivel caster.

ADJUSTABLE
LEVERAGE
You can adjust the Morse Mobile-Karrier to do your job with
minimum effort. Adjusts
to accommodate drum weights up to 800 Lb. (363 kg) and floor
clearances of 5-1/8" to
11-1/2" (13- 29 cm). Tipping capacities vary with type
and amount of load carried. MORSE SADDLES FOR DRUMS OF ALL SIZES
Saddle type A fits the popular standard 55 gallon (210 liter)
steel drums, and is
included in the Morse 80A Mobile-Karrier. Other models are available
for handling
steel, fibre and plastic drums of all sizes. Model number with
letter suffix is complete
unit including saddle. SPARK RESISTANT PARTS AVAILABLE
Drum handlers normally have steel structure, but spark resistant
models are made with
Monel drum band. Stainless steel cinch chain replaces the standard
steel chain. The
letter "M" is included in the model number to designate
the unit is made with spark
resistant parts. Examples include 80A-M.
A.
ITS EASY TO SECURE THE DRUM
Roll the Mobile-Karrier forward and push the saddle into the
center of the drum.
The extra strength cinch chain is easily secured across the
front of the drum by the
improved ratchet tightener. No tools are necessary.
B.
JUST PULL DOWN THE HANDLE TO RAISE
The drum is then raised by pulling down the handle. Automatic
locks engage to
hold drum up as handle is lowered. Tilt locks hold drum vertical.
C.
EASY TO MOVE WITHOUT SPILLING CONTENTS
With the Mobile-Karrier supporting the load, the operator can
quickly and easily
move it to dispensing area. Drums are transported in vertical
position to avoid
spilling.
D.
YOU CAN DISPENSE FROM ANY POSITION
Tilt locks can be reset to automatically secure the tilted
drum at horizontal for
dispensing, or allow it to be turned as far as desired. Mobile-Karrier
may be left
holding drum for subsequent dispensing, or the drum may be
easily returned to
storage, freeing the Mobile-Karrier for handling other drums.
